Each year in April, the Board of Directors reviews applications for renovations and construction from unit owners.  The Board is guided by its philosophy that individual owners should be able to maximize the utility of each condominium unit according to their own preferences and taste, but that any changes to the exterior of the buildings must follow strict guidelines to preserve the look and feel of Condos Sierra Madre for the enjoyment and benefit of all owners.

All construction, interior and exterior, must be completed during the construction period: the first Monday following Santa Semana until July 15th, and September 1st until November 15th.  Revised guidelines were approved at the 2024 AGM.
